National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) On Line Admission for Stream 1 is open till 31st August 2010.

Candidates can check the Status of NIOS Online Admission 2010 for Stream 1 Enrolled for Oct 2010 Exam. Admission 2010 for October 2010 Examination has been closed.

National Institute of Open Schooling is an “Open School” to offer education up to pre-degree level. National Institute of Open Schooling was started as a project by the Central Board of Secondary Education in the year 1979.

In the year 2002, the Ministry of HRD changed the National Open School (NOS) to the NIOS to provide education at school stage through Open Learning system.
